4. Charmander Only available from Professor Oak at the beginning of the game at Pallet Town
5. Charmeleon Evolves from Charmander at level 16.
6. Charizard Evolves from Charmeleon at level 36 .
7. Squirtle Only available from Professor Oak at the beginning of the game at Pallet Town.
8. Wartortle Evolves from Squirtle at level 16 .
9. Blastoise
Evolves from Wartortle at level 36.
10. Caterpie In routes 2, 24 and 25 or in Virdian Forest.(Rare in Red but many in Blue)
11. Metapod Evolves from Caterpie at level 7. Also available in route 24 and 25 or in Virdian Forest. (Rare in red but many in Blue)
12. Butterfree Evolves from Metapod at level 10.
13. Weedle In routes 2, 24 and 25 or in Virdian Forest. (Common in Red but rare in Blue)
